New Doors!

"Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ."   Colossians 4:2,3  NAS
It was another great Sunday at Creation Church this past Sunday, as we continued to encourage one another in sharing our faith in The Year of Living Dangerously!  The verses above were several we considered, as we prepare our hearts and the hearts of our loved ones, friends, neighbors and co-workers with whom we wish to share the gospel with this year, "that I may make it clear in the way that I ought to proclaim it."  v. 4
At the end of the service I gave a homework assignment for all, which I'd like to give to you as well, and, that is, to write down three people whom you wish to share the gospel with this year!  That's it!  Over the next several weeks I'll give you other assignments to build upon this first one!
We have several new sets of closet doors, which were installed last week compliments of your end-of-the-year gifts!  We have blinds and curtains on order for all of our new windows (18) in the Family Life Center, and, if you have not noticed, our two outdoor lamps in front of the church are now working!  Praise the Lord!  Thank you, again, for your gifts!

Just a reminder to all married and engaged couples, don't forget to sign-up for our annual Sweetheart Banquet on Saturday, February 12th from 6:30-8:00pm!  This is one of our favorite events of the year for couples, as we celebrate marriage and all that God intended it to be with games and songs and teachings and  delicious desserts!  It is truly a special evening of fun, faith, and fellowship!  Be sure to sign-up at church on Sunday!
In addition, there is, also, a sign-up sheet at church for guys planning to attend the upcoming Iron Sharpens Iron Conference in Hartford on Saturday, March 19th!

Also, by way of reminder, is our brand-new Men's Bible Study on the Book of Romans that meets tonight and every Tuesday night at 6:30pm in the Admin. Bldg., and, also, our brand-new Mid-Week Bible Study on Wednesday mornings at 10:00am in the Family Life Center!

As always, we will be meeting on Wednesday night in the Admin. Bldg. for an evening of Praise and Prayer at 6:30pm!  All are welcome!
Yours in Christ,
Bernie
