GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly. It's a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare will be led by Pastor Bernie and Gale, who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll also gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.
The cost is $15 per person, or $25 per couple.
A new study for men 40 and under, called A Man and His Design. Every other Tuesday night at 7PM beginning September 3rd until November 12th! This study will help young men navigate through some manhood realities that have created cultural confusion by unfolding God’s manhood mandates for all men and offering a clear definition of authentic manhood!
Parenting is hard. Yes, we love our kids, but they know how to misbehave and push our buttons. We want to raise them to love and obey God, but we can’t even get them to obey us! Here’s the good news: we can learn to respond to our kids with love, firm boundaries and grace based discipline, even when their behavior lights our fuse. This study starts Thursday, September 5th, from 6:30pm to 8pm every other week, through November 14th. See Brian or Autumn Finn for details.
Join a variety of community groups for fellowship and deeper friendships. Community groups meet every other week, on either a Monday in Brooklyn, Tuesday in Thompson, or Wednesday in Woodstock, from 6:30pm to 8pm. It is a lot of snacks, fellowship, and study.
See Pastor Bernie for the Contact Information for the different groups!!

We will be having our Friday Movie Night at a theater on Aug. 23rd. New release of a Kendrick Brothers movie.
High school basketball coach John Harrison and his team face an uncertain future when their town's largest manufacturing plant shuts down unexpectedly. As hundreds of people move away, John reluctantly agrees to coach cross-country, a sport he doesn't even like. His outlook soon changes when he meets Hannah Scott, an unlikely runner who pushes herself to the limit. Inspired by the words and prayers of a new friend, John starts to train Hannah for the biggest race of her young life.
Currently, it looks like the closest theater is in Worcester. It is showing in some theaters in Rhode Island.
This Friday's movie isn't for the faint of heart. Join us August 9th in the sanctuary at 7PM for popcorn and the movie "UNPLANNED". Abby Johnson becomes the youngest clinic director in the history of Planned Parenthood, then a life-changing experience turns her into an anti-abortion activist.
Bernie Carbo, one of the 1975 World Series heroes for the Boston Red Sox, will be speaking at Creation Church on SUNDAY, JUNE 23rd 9am and 10:30am.
Carbo started his career with the Cincinnati Reds where he was the Reds’ number one draft pick in the inaugural 1965 draft, the 16th pick overall and ahead of Johnny Bench. In his 1970 rookie season, Bernie posted career highs in batting average (.310), homeruns (21), and runs batted in (63). He was selected Rookie of the Year by The Sporting News.
His greatest moment in baseball, however, was hitting a three-run homerun in the bottom of the eighth inning in the sixth game of the 1975 World Series for the Boston Red Sox to tie the score at 6-6 against his former Cincinnati Reds, which paved the way for Carlton Fisk’s dramatic home run in the 12th inning to force a game seven. Carbo’s homerun was one of the greatest homeruns in World Series history, and will forever remain in Red Sox folklore.
On Nov. 10, 2004, Bernie was inducted into the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame. In September of 2012, Bernie was named to the 100-Year All Fenway Park Team, which consists of the top 40 Red Sox players of all-time. Bernie is also in both The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and The Ted Williams Museum under the Unsung Hero section.
Telling the greatest story ever told through the greatest game ever played is Carbo’s passion in life. He and his wife, Tammy, founded The Diamond Club Ministry in 1993, a Christian organization whose sole purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ. The Diamond Club teaches the proper fundamentals of baseball through drills, practice, and fun. Carbo believes that playing the game with competence not only makes one a better player, but increases self-esteem and encourages relationship-building through team play. The mission of The Diamond Club is to give youth and their families a simple message: God loves you!
Starting Sunday, March 3rd, 9am, there will be a Bible Study on the book of Hebrews led by one of our deacons, Chris Booth. Meet in the Admin building! Contact: Chris 508-410-0695.
"What's the use?" At times of frustration or disappointment, it is tempting to ask this question. You work and work to grow to Christian maturity, but you seem to get nowhere--repeating your mistakes, neglecting your commitments, losing your motivation. The original readers of Hebrews felt the same way! Yet the writer of this New Testament letter cheers for them to stay on track and never quit, so they can reach the finish line by the power of Jesus Christ. As James Reapsome leads you through thirteen studies in Hebrews, he offers you--and all of today's faith-weary Christians--the encouragement you need to stay in the faith-race. This LifeGuide Bible Study in IVP's revised format features questions for starting group discussions and for meeting God in personal reflection, as well as a new "Now or Later" section following each session to help you act on what you learn.
Sundays- Middle School/Youth/Teen Study
Youth class is AFTER 1ST service, at 10AM. Parents are welcome to gather with Jeff Boshka, and then move to the Admin building for some food & some fellowship of sharing our week, and faith & life topics. Let’s get real and encourage one another in the Lord!

Kelly Minter’s “What Love Is: The Letters of 1, 2, 3 John.
The letters of 1, 2, & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. This study reveals not only the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus.
Kelly Minter is an author, speaker, songwriter, and singer. She is passionate about women discovering Jesus Christ through the pages of Scripture.
Cost of workbook is $15.
